My wife and I have inherited a box of Gia Gem equipment/instruments, and as none of us are interested in gemology we are hoping to sell it so that someone else can put it to good use. The equipment was bought new by my mother-in-law and has seen little use, having lived most of its life in a box in storage. We do have receipts for the microscope and refractor. We are hoping to sell everything together, but not sure if an online sale is the better way to go of if anyone here can recommend potential buyers? We are in Sacramento, California.
I can provide more pictures if needed.
Instruments: - Microscope Gia Gemolite Mark VII - GIA Duplex II Refractometer - Gem Presidium DiamondMaster - Gia Dichroscope - Various smaller items such as Karat ruler, tweezers, ‘cue cards’, spare light bulb, Gia Gem flashlight pen, etc - Book: Gem Reference Guide (1988) from Gia Gem - Book: Diamond Grading Lab Manual from Gia Gem

Do a little research and find a fair price to sell the lot for. I would sell it as a lot, not as individual instruments. eBay is a good place to start. Nice collection.
So sorry that your mother in law is no longer with us.
