Hello

what do you think of this sapphire, is it a collectors piece worth some value or not really?

first i heard of this golden sheen sapphire today, its a green one.

i just saw it in a gem market, its about 100 grams. rough. kinda unsual, nice hexagon tho

I bought a similar one on eBay for 15 bucks a couple years back, cabbed it and made a pendant. It starred decently, but not exceptionally. I have a serious fondness for this material but it isn't very valuable.

Hard to be sure from picture, but it looks like golden sheen sapphire from North Eastern Kena.

Hi. Right thought so. But the seller said its from madagascar. Anyways thx for replies. Wondering if it had value. Cheaper on ebsy maybe

There has been some serious hype and high prices asked for the gold sheen material, but it can sometimes be purchased very inexpensively. I have a nice stockpile of the more common straight black and gold stuff.
