A gem match for every Pantone color trend As it does each year, the Pantone Color Institute has released its forecasts for color fashion trends in Spring 2015. Using Gemewizard's technology, we suggest corresponding gemstones for each of them. Part I of a two-part series looks first at men's fashion.
In this issue: The importance of the 2nd color moderator in estimating a diamond's value; The abuse of all that is natural - The lead glass-filled ruby intrigue; Matching GW colors and gems to Pantone's Spring 2015 color report; Worldwide news and Developments regarding colored gems.

It's always funny to me when I read through jeweler and marginal blogging sites lists of gems by color. You can always tell that they don't really have any idea about what is feasibly available (considering how often they list things like topaz under green).

They are cute, aren't they ! Did you get the large set or the smaller set? I have the smaller set. While in Tucson, I purchased the new "World of Color" system by Gemworld, which is based on the Munsell Color System. If you like the GIA color paddles, I think you'll like the "World of Color" .

I jumped on it as soon as I saw it. $1299 including shipping. There was someone who had the set for $2900 + $100 shipping or offer. I offered $1800 including shipping. Rejected. So when I saw a set at 30% less than I was willing to go, I just bought it.
