I really do appreciate everything being done, I know it will be better. It is kind of like breaking in a new pair of shoes when you were used to the old pair you really loved. :D

I get a message saying I can't use certain BB code ie: flash :?

That's fixed.

There is a new button sitting above your text box when you compose a message called 'swf'. You need to paste the swf's full url followed by its width and height, divided by commas, select your typing and hit the swf button so that you get a code like this:
Code:
[swf]
http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/vv131/selectgem/PD026-002-001.swf,600,361[/swf]

which results in an autoplaying flash movie:

[swf]http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/vv131/selectgem/PD026-002-001.swf,600,361[/swf]

I'll see if I can get rid of the inbuilt flash button as it doesn't wanna work with IE.

Yep, the colors are fine now. They don't assault my eyes. No one should put much stock in my opinion, though. When it comes to reading text, I'm a big fan of black and white.

This is a work in progress, as was my original forum, started 5 years ago.
PhpBB has several designs one can download, none of which perfectly suited our needs.
It's not until we get something up and running that we can tell what needs modification and improvement.

We can't please everyone 100% of the time but we certainly will try the best we can.

Thanks for your patience. :D

Oh, and you're quite welcome Al Balmer.

In the previous version of the software, if you clicked on a link in an email that was referencing an external article, the article opened in a new browser window. In this version, the article opens in the same browser window. I liked the old way better since I could view the external article and keep the email chain open at the same time. Also, if I accidentally close the external article I close GO and have to start again.

hey Dan,

to avoid that you can right mouse click on the link and choose to open it in a new window or tab.

Tim,

I tried this and of course it does work but it is just not intuitive. I still like the other way better but there have been so many other improvements I am sure I will get use to it.

Thanks, Dan.
Like most other changes in life, it just involves getting used to a new routine.
