Justin, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching/ reading about your other enthusiastic gem travels, history, etc., from around the world. Thank you. Hope your book is coming along well. One of the aspects you pointed out has remained in the back of my mind, and that is how colored gems and jewels are represented in historical paintings, and perhaps other visual arts as well. Lately, I've gone back to painting portraits and such myself. Your presentations combined with the fact that I'm also a gem cutter have made it a personal goal to create more portraits with people sporting their bling and to try and capture painting their jewels with attention to details you've pointed out.

This was really funny, thanks! I told my wife that I'm a Mystic now, so she'd better pay attention to my ramblings as they come from my being in tune with the universe, but she disagreed for some reason.
