Since I was getting one of Jon's BA5T laps sent out, I thought I'd try his new Greenway. Every once in a while you get these stones like an emerald, rubellite tourmaline, and the spessartite from Tanzania that have very fine inclusions that reach the surface, and the black gunk from a diamond charged laps always gets forced into the, what was invisible inclusion.
As you guys know, I don't pre-polish, so I was a bit concerned that going right from the NuBond 600 to the greenway may take some time. Well Gearloose proved again he is a "Winner". The polish came up on each facet in about 1 or 2 seconds on the crown of a small (1.6) Afghan tourmaline. Very nice polish, fast, no gunk, and my finger isn't black from rubbing diamond into a lap. So far a fantastic polishing lap for tourmaline.
