Welcome to "Every Rock Has A Story!" My name is Ethan Baxter. I am a professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Boston College. I first created these videos in 2020 from a makeshift home studio to provide some educational content for kids, parents, and teachers adjusting to at-home learning. In 2021, we've created another batch from a proper studio at Boston College. The videos are geared for elementary school children, but they are fun and appropriate for all ages. My wish is to make this educational resource known & available to teachers & parents to help them inspire wonder, curiosity, and responsibility for the Earth in our young learners - at home or in the classroom -and to help all kids see themselves as scientists.
