RB ideal cut melee has gone up 15 - 25 % in the last 3 weeks.

Headed back to where it was about 5 or 10 years ago.

Funny, but no one complained when it was dropping in price monthly!

I heard complaints from all merchants who actually purchased their inventories at higher prices. Now, it just doesn't make sense to actually purchase an inventory,

Yes - I can understand that.

I live in the world of one-off custom design, where we buy diamonds just as needed.

It could get ugly again if we go back to retailers expecting cutters/dealers to extend massive long term memos so they don't have to risk their own money on inventory...

Though diamond prices are increased, people keep loving diamonds.

In this scenario, while making our inventory list we must think about our requirement and customer needs. Accordingly we can do our purchase.
