I'll be there this year too, as my first time after starting faceting. Will there be any sort of meet up for GO folks?

Will be there for the first time Feb. 2,3 and 4. Trying to find more information on the Annual USFG - Tuscon Faceters Frolic. Heard Robert Strickland can't make it this year. Will also be in Quartzsite a few days, anyone going or has been?

I brought my puppy to the off leash dog park and got bum rushed from behind by a doberman pincer and a bull terrier.
JellyBean thought we were having a great time, rolling around on the sand trying to get up.

In the past the GO dinner was at this Mexican place.
I know Mexican food is not everyone's favorite (cough cough).

Funny you should mention that! The subject of Mexican food is a delicate dance around our house: The wife LOVES it (she lived and taught in Mexico for a while, so she knows what REAL Mexican food is!). Me, not so much.
As long as I can avoid the beans, I do reasonably well.
I'm actually starting to enjoy some of it other than Carne Asada...
We have a handful of good (authentic) restaurants in our area.
The new favorite was a close second in the wife's choice for where she wanted her birthday party this year.
If it weren't for its remoteness, we would be having Mexican (and I would be obliged to follow suite, and declare I wanted to go to the Chinese buffet that she loathes for my birthday!).

Anyone interested in meeting for dinner in Tucson next month?

I won't be in until the 10th, but I'm from Tucson and still know all the best places, depending on what people want to eat.
