Hi gem expert, is it true that yellow-teal bicolor chrysoberyl can occur naturally? A collector from Kunming showed me something that I think did not exist. At first I thought this is a tourmaline. Then he allowed me to take the stone off for checking. The RI match chrysoberyl. Then I immersed it in oil and cant found any unnatural sign. As for the inclusion, nothing catch my eye beside several crystals and cracks under 10x loupe.
Cant test it any further cause at that time I didnt have access to microscope, dark field loupe. not to mention those advance equipment.
One more weird think is that I saw a straight brown zoning in the teal part of the stone.
Have you see anything like this?

I think a simple SG reading while it was out might have separated your two curiosities. Honestly it looks like tourmaline with partial or full closed C axis. But it is just a picture so all just speculations. Yes have seen similar.
