Please help me identify this stone. It is a robbins egg blue with a reddish brown. I am new to collecting stones and I thought they were very beautiful. Where do they come from? How are they made? Why are they so blue?

Should I have posted this in the newbie section?

Thanks

Looks more green than blue and the matrix looks reddish brown, at least on my screen. Most likely turquoise from (can be of way to many localities to identify from a picture). It is also completely possible to be stabilized causing the coloration to be as seen and be also a manufactured composite of natural or polymer materials.
It also may be variscite from Utah and Nevada USA.

Looks like it is supposed to be turquoise. What it actually is anyone's guess. :D

In my view, Blue and brownstones are two of the most popular colors. They both have a modern aesthetic that is stylish and unique. Additionally, they can wear almost any outfit and make a statement on their wedding day or at another special event. When choosing which color to choose, you must consider what kind of impression you want to make.

Agree with the blue, but in our business brown and orange are very rarely colors of choice. I imagine that cultures and many other reasons will have an influence.

Navigupta, OK. Sometimes blue or brown may be appropriate with certain fashion choices....... :| But does that relate to the earrings posted above?

Fair enough. What do you think of the earrings?

In my opinion, earrings are often used as a form of adornment and can be made from various materials, including metal, plastic, wood, glass, or gemstones. Earrings can be worn for aesthetic reasons, to express personal style or cultural identity, or as a symbol of social or marital status. In some cultures, earrings are also worn for spiritual or religious reasons.

Earrings are often worn for special occasions, such as weddings, proms, and other formal events, but they can also be worn for everyday wear. Earrings come in a wide range of styles, including stud earrings, hoops, chandelier earrings, dangle earrings, and more. The style choice can depend on personal preference, the occasion, and the overall look that the wearer tries to achieve.

That is not what I would call an opinion.

Actually this looks like some AI generated stuff.

Really funny, but now that I read it again I think you may be correct. Sometimes technology is badly misused...
