I was wondering what the beads and pendant in this necklace are. Thanks in advance.

A photograph is not the best diagnostic tool, but as an educated guess, a variety of banded agate. Try a hardness test and see if you can get an RI reading. Might be able to get a better idea then.

The species is Chalcedony

For the Variety call:


Agate must have wavy banding, and some degree of translucency.

These look opaque which would put them in the Jasper variety.

Looks like some picture stone. Agree with 1Bwana1.
