I came across this video of this big, rough Tourmaline stone. The person owning this claims it to be 171 grams. Have never come across such a huge Tourmaline. Is this fake or are there really rough Tourmalines this big?

I would say yes it is possible that a tourmaline can be that big. Whether this individual piece is a natural tourmaline just based on a youtube video will be an assumption. There are a few things that make me wonder if it is. Looks heavily oiled, the crystals faces look somewhat worked as well as the base appears rounded or shaped. Be a nice piece if did turn out to be a natural.

Yep, they can get big. But usually the big ones don't look that pristine.

There's a whole lotta healing to be had and feel good properties in that one Barbra. Metaphysically speaking that is, I feel so calm just seeing it.

One would need some healing, at least a spinal realignment, after carrying that boulder around.

After closer inspection of the crystal posted by Mohmand, it is not striking me as natural.

The hair on the back of my neck is tingling again. Some things with that specimen are feeling not right. Especially with the termination.

Please put that stone in front a of polarized light source like some computer screens have. Then turn it in all possible directions. I want to see what happens with the color.

I have had some larger Demantoid colored Nanosital borosilicate glass that would not take much to make look just like this specimen. Color, RI is 1.67, etc...

I feel like I've seen this specific one offered for sale before by a reputable Nigerian dealer. Can't find it though.
Certainly rough this size exists but it isn't common or cheap.
