I bought this Emerald bracelet recently. The stones are of good color, and the price was reasonable too. All emeralds in the bracelet are from Swat, from its old mine area. I was on a trip to the scenic area of Swat when I saw this at a gemstone shop.

Nice. Make sure it fits the wearer snugly or the center piece will always fall to the bottom of the wrist where it could be damaged.

Hello Mohmand,

Thank you for sharing ! I can not say anything about the quality of the emeralds, however for my part the setting is not very successful : the claws are too long and give a lot of shade to the gems.

I agree with Danielle, the metal work doesn't deserve these emeralds. It appears that the baskets may need a stone a size bigger.

@danielle and @glhays The stones are of very good quality, I can assure you. Got them checked in the lab here in the city. Regarding the design of the Jewelry, Swat is not exactly a jewelry hub where you can find top designers. I agree that the clasps take the sheen away from these stones which have a good luster.

But here in the capital where I live, there are quiet a few who design beautiful Jewelry. We intend to fit these in a better jewelry piece, where the stones would be more visible, probably gold Jewellery, given that good emeralds are expensive stones.

@Barbara Thank you Barbara. We'll ensure that the main stone fits the middle of the wrist whenever its wore.

What is the current metal of the piece? .925 Silver?

You know, sometimes we just have to accept that a piece of jewelry "is what it is". Nothing more, nothing less.
