This was my first purchase of cut stones from the actual cutter (& shhhhhhhhhhh, I got them from ebay).

It's a 25.84 ct rutilated quartz from Brazil, 15.7 mm x 14.6 mm, cut by Uli Zeisberg of Osiris Gems (Germany) – I believe it’s a phase cut & I can’t seem to locate my purchase info to confirm:

Apologies for being unable to post more pix of the stone ... I started trying to post more pix yesterday but so far, no luck ... all I get are strings of code. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong!

edited to remove links as requested.

Gorgeous, I'm reminded me of the hours I spent through the Australian museum gawking at the mineralogy section. Thank you

OK, I have to ask - what on earth is a phase cut?
