New to site. I am also knew to spelling so forgive me as I can not find the spell check function.
Anyway, I was wondering how hard it is to determine natural spinel from synthetic when all you have is a 10x loupe and a refractometer. I hear that just looking for inclusions alone will lead to purchase folly.

Also, does anyone know of a good cad designer?

Thanks for any help, Patrick
