Gem-A is looking for a person with flair, initiative and some gemmological knowledge for a full-time position that combines reception, office and customer services skills. They will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors to Gem-A, including potential students, able after training to answer most day-to-day queries about Gem-A education and other services. They will also assist with our sale of books and equipment, and have a varied range of other reception and office responsibilities.
The role requires excellent and confident spoken and written English communication skills, good IT abilities and a team player with a rare blend of outgoing personality, motivation and good organisational skills. Gem education to at least Gem-A Foundation certificate level would be an advantage.
The position would be ideal as a first or second job. Gemmological education to Gem-A Diploma level may be provided if not already possessed. Salary according to experience. The job is based at Gem-A's central London headquarters
