Hello and thank you ahead of time for anyone who offers thier advice! And Im hoping some one might have experienced this and can tell me what to do... I have a relatively new crystalite 600 lap. I have used it maybe 3 times and purchased it about 2 years prior. (I have moved around a bit and was not able to set up shop properly thus the lap is relatively new!) My laps have always been cleaned and dried after use and before I stored them seperately ofcourse in ziplock freezer bags and put them in thier alocated slot on the rack. I took out my crystalite lap to use it and saw some strange debris coming out of the edges and onto the lap in areas. So i took pics (included). Can some one tell me why this migbt be happening and what i can do about it?

Looks like the adhesive between the aluminum base and the diamond topper. Probably nothing to worry about unless you can actually tell if there is separation visually apparent. When you run them can you tell if they look flat or do they run uneven. Theses used in faceting or lapidary work?
