Hi everyone. I'm hoping for some insights into some GG classes. I'm currently enrolled in GEM 220 and have the GEM 220 Lab coming up next month. I had initially planned it so that I would be finished with GEM 220 (distance) before I went in to the NY lab. Some family things have come up and it's been taking me a little bit longer to get through the GEM 220 coursework and I'm worried about how that will affect the lab portion--will I still be able to do OK on GEM 220L if I'm working through GEM 220 at the same time? Thanks for any advice someone can give.

The 220L class (Color Stone Grading Lab Class) can be taken at any time. It will not matter if you take it before, during or after the e-Learning course.
The only lab class that could be said to be "time sensitive" would be the Gem Identification Lab Class, which should be taken just prior to the Gem Identification e-Learning course if possible as it will serve as an excellent primer and foundation for the full course.
I hope that helps. Your instructor would also be happy to answer any questions that you may have
