Yes its died opal. But was wondering about the thing inside if plant or dendritic. I had it checked. Its for sure died opal n im guessing dendritic unless dendritic can only be in a fractal pattern. Cuz this stuff swirls. Anyways. The article was very helpful.

Hello. It could be. I think the dye can seep in as well since its hydrophane material. I saw another opal with similar inclusions. The seller said it was plant roots. But i have no idea for sure. It would be cool if it was australian and a plant root cuz that stuff is very old, millions of years old. I think ethiopian opal is only 50,000 years old. But i still am not sure what it is.
