Hi all,

Could someone tell me if stones can be sent via post to AIGS for analysis (inside Thailand) and for their very reasonable online cert does it include treatment analysis or is this an extra?

Many thanks

Hello,

I never used the Thai post office to send stone inside Thailand, but I used it a lot for International mail, but only from JTC in Bangkok, with no any problème.

For the certificat you will get all you need in the report. That include the treatments if there is any. If you want the origin of the stone (usualy for corundum) it will be more expensive.

I used a lot the lab and allway be satisfied with the results. On an other hand, the director and the staff there will be allway open to questions.

Best Regards

Olivier

Thanks for your positive comments Olivier!

Dear underthesun,

Yes, you are right, our “very reasonable online cert” does include all possible information on a stone, and hence, treatment too.
We issue 3 types of reports (gemstone and mineral full identification). They all provide the same level of information, just “cosmetic”, format (size) and the number of pictures change (you can see samples on our website: www.aigslaboratory.com).

Our 3 types of reports are: the AIGS full report (A5 format, 2 pictures), the AIGS Brief report (Credit card format, one picture) and the report of the future, paperless, the AIGS e-Report ("e" for electronic – one picture), it's safe, fast and secure. This report is a printable PDF document and very popular, among others, with Internet sellers and people who want an affordable gem report from an international gem lab.

We receive stones from all around the world, by any ways possible, without any problem.

If you need more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly (info@aigslaboratory.com).

With best regards,

Dr. Laurent Massi,
AIGS Gem Laboratory Director.
