It looks really good, Barbra! I like it a lot. One little problem - my PM box says I have 3 unread messages, but I can't find them! #-o

Only 3 pics attached at a time??? and they upload backwards which if you are referring to pics or writing little tidbits above them makes it a little more difficult..they have this over on FMF and at first always got you..I would be posting fireldtrip reports and have to upload them all backwards since thats how they will appear and when trying to desribe whats in the pictures you can get you text mixed up with your pics..not as much a problem now as i got used to it over there but still screws with newbies..can anything be done about the 3 attachment limit? also will it be strictly GO uploader or will we be able to use our own..i see Jon mentioned it already..not that it really matters to much but the uploader is much slower on here than my VArockhounder one..just giving feedback..not bitching   ..lol..well except about the 3 pic limit..

That's easily fixed... the admin team will debate on the amount of pics we should enable to be uploaded.
Re - the backwards uploading: when you habe uploaded the first file you will encounter the 'place inline' button where the upload button was first. If you hit that a small bit of coding will be wacked into the text box there where your cursor was sitting. This enables you to type a bit of text, upload an image, place it where you want it, type some more, attach another images, place it where you want it etc etc... So... uploading backwards isn't neccesary...

Nopes... that wont work, not even had I enabled you to plug .wmz's... you would have needed the <object><embed> tags, specified a size etc etc... That would be getting way too complicated so your only option is to upload stuff to youtube and then share it...

My role in this is minimal, Barbra is the mastermind and deserves the credit!

Actually, it is little more work to host the pictures, since they have to be uploaded to one server or another. By default, I always used my domains to host images as a matter of courtesy, because some forums and boards have limited storage and bandwidth. If Barbra has no such concerns, it's fine with me and a step simpler.

Is there any way that you can make links open in a separate tab? I often like to save them to read later when I might have more time.

If you use Firefox, you can right click on a link to open in a separate tab. I don't know about other browsers. But you're right - the old version always opened in a new tab.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the latest update, but it seems there's a problem with the search engine: when I'm doing a search for the term 'microscope' into the 'gem equipment' forum, I only get one match found (while there are hundreds of post about microscopes in this section of the forum)...
