Hello Everyone.
I a fledgling facet guy from Las Vegas and hope to learn a lot from the folks here.
I'm a retired (twelve years) engineer; and amateur astronomer; and a not-so-good-anymore golfer. I'm an active member of the Southern Nevada Mineral & Gem Society... spell that "rock club".
I have a small workshop in my garage with the usual stuff... CabKing, flat lap, trim saw, etc. I recently purchased a Poly-Metric Xrystal-99 from Zane at Poly-Metric, and am just getting used to it. Previous minor facet experience was with a club-owned, old Graves facet machine.
Someday, I hope to be a contributor worth listen to here. Meanwhile, expect a lot of dumb, newbie questions.
