Howdy. I followed a few random links and ended up here :) One of my better accidents. I have been making cabs for around 20 years and have been getting more into rockhounding down here is SoCal. I started making stone handles for pocket and hunting knives about 2 years ago. I call it jewelry for guys. What guy wouldn't like a nice looking knife. Of course women like them also. This site has some more technical discussions which i enjoy. Hopefully my grey matter has something of value to share with the group.

Welcome Barclay. My mother does cabbing and is wondering where she can purchase the blank pocket knives from where you add the stone inlay to the handle. I gave my dad one and she would like to give one to her brother. I am in Australia so would prefer to buy locally, but am happy to buy from overseas if necessary.
