best introduce myself, an aussie sapphireminer and gemcutter decided to to have a break and been fishing in nz for a couple of years now located in bangkok , time to do a few more courses particularly gem photography , deal in gemstones obviously and travel to africa for rough occasionaly , hoping to tap into the knowledge contained in this forum as come back with really strange stones at times that defy my mediocre attempys at identifying them,well thats all for now and look forward to talking to you guys and girls, regards.

Hi gemhunter, hope the fishing was good..much better than sitting there watching the water level in your hole. Has that had a chance to dry out yet? Good luck with the courses and looking forward to seeing more pretties on your site.
thanks for the welcomes everyone , our claims were in central queensland , and the water problem wasnt our major concern other than cave ins of tunnels however water in tunnels is still a major concern for most of the mines at the moment, am seeing some nice material at the moment and getting some nice rough from my kenyan friend over here at moment visiting us, will be posting some new stuff on website shortly , amazing some of the ma,terial comming out of umba valley and sudan border at the moment.will talk to all soon best wishes .
