Article from the BBC about ringwoodite in diamond and the idea that, if you go deep enough, this amazingly blue stone is fairly abundant... Mineral hints at bright blue rocks deep in the Earth http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-26553115 I'd love to have a piece of that ringwoodite blue to facet or cab, but a 400km+ mine shaft is a little bit forbidding.
