I have a large Polish zincite specimen which has developed a hydrozincite patina, due to humidity in Hawaii. This has compromised the lucency and luster of the crystals. Cleaning the surface with white vinegar had minimal benefit. I'd like to know if I could safely use 30% vinegar. Thank you.
