University of Arizona Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum

Post by path914 »

First of all, if this is the wrong location for this, mods please feel free to move.

After completing my Gem-A foundation exam at the museum yesterday, I had the opportunity to walk through the new exhibit and take some photos. I thought that some of you who have decided not to attend Tucson this year might like to have a look :smt023

I was quite impressed with what has been accomplished by Eric and the rest of the UOA staff over the past few years.

Here is a link to my photo album. Sorry for the quality as these were just quick shots with my phone.

Thanks! I really appreciate you letting us enjoy it vicariously. That's quite an amazing collection! And quite a thorough job photographing it too! It looks like they have deep pockets and a great eye for quality in many different forms.

Norville is synonymous with GJX, as well the UOA has a very wealthy donor base. I won't mention names as it may be inappropriate.
