2022 Tucson
Well, I just got tickets to fly to Tucson, in the expectation that there will actually be a show next year. Anyone else?

We drive. But most likely we will in one capacity or another. Keeping fingers crossed for the best!

I am very excited, though we're having renovations done on the house which might leave us with a lighter budget than usual. Be that as it may I'm really looking forward to it--if nothing else I can at least get more subjects for microscopy!

Best way to go, how else to bring back all those finds you didn't plan on buying.Barbra Voltaire, FGG wrote:I am planning on it.

Just booked airline tickets today.
Find a UPS or Fedex store with lots of packing supplies. Not one to repeat my longest experience with TSA in Phoenix, who didn't seem to know about any shows in Tucson.glhays wrote:Best way to go, how else to bring back all those finds you didn't plan on buying.Barbra Voltaire, FGG wrote:I am planning on it.

Yeah, but when you find that petrified wood dining table, it's nice just to throw it in the back of the SUV. And chances are good if the car is broken into the table will be left behind.
Re: 2022 Tucson
All good points Barbra! And of course the forklift loaded amethyst cathedrals through the rear hatch. Shipped one of those once, even put it in a crate and Fedex dragged it to Florida. At least that is what it looked like when it arrived.

Re: 2022 Tucson
I have been thinking of driving. I really doubt that by January I will be allowed to fly the way mandates are going lately. It's a long long drive for me however.

Perhaps it's time to start organizing a GO dinner. Anyone else interested?
