I came across this video on YouTube by accident. I cannot believe that this kind of poor information is being given to the public.

Oh, this is horrible.
If I have time later, I will leave a comment.
This is just wrong on so many levels.

I think the whole purpose is to get them to send her a picture. She then does an appraisal for $59.00. It has been proven many times on this forum that a picture is not sufficient to prove identity or value.

Take the case of the Australian couple who had what turned out to be a very valuable natural, no heat Cashmere Sapphire. It would have been malpractice to try and give any type of report on that stone with a picture. How many thousands would it have likely cost those people? I shudder to think.

All of us from New Jersey are famous for our politeness. :D I also left the good doctor a couple comments.

Nick.
I think the rubber gloves are so no fingerprints or DNA is left to tie her to her misdeeds. She is no dummy, she has a P.H.D.. :roll

How does someone estimate size of a stone from a photograph? The mind boggles...

$59.00 for a photo based appraisal, $500 per hour for a personal consult. Who says crime doesn't pay....

Frickin' eh?
$500/ hour?
Perhaps that allows her to subcontract someone with expertise.

Looks like Dr.Lori is also a fine art expert. I would like to see how my fake Monet does with one of her 59 dollar appraisals. The TV host says that she knows everything. I think she knows a thing or two about donuts and ice cream.https://youtu.be/J7YRlz5ofY8

I'm thinking you are being too kind Niky. She has about as much chance of determining if the donut or ice cream tastes good from a photo, as she does appraising a gemstone.

Nicky...are you fat shaming?
We have to admit that Dr. Lori has overcome countless aesthetic obstacles to achieve her apparent notoriety.
I'd love to know who she knows.
