Does anyone have any price charts of diamonds saved from the past? I have been trying to search online and I guess that there are a lot of variables which affect diamond prices but I was wondering if anyone might have had anything similar to this?

Thanks that article is great! It's amazing to see that a D/Flawless 1ct diamond was worth 2.5x more in 1988 than it was in 1977. Do you know if there are any more articles or data like this? I have always been interested in the price increases of white diamonds.

Do you think the price increases are always the highest for the diamonds on the higher end of the scale i.e Flawless/Internally Flawless and D colour?

Oh yes, but like everything else with dear Martin, they are very expensive.
