Green is not a color one often sees resulting from Be diffusion. But you could always send the sapphire to GIA of AGL for further testing.

A natural ruby undergoes heat treatment in an attempt to improve its characteristics, right?
If no indications of heat treatment are found, it can be labeled as "no evidence of heat treatment".

I think your pictures depict faceting abrasion on the surface of your stone, not internal characteristics.

FORUM FORMAT UPDATED

After 25 years of the old phpBB format, the coding became obsolete and would no longer be supported. The decades of our information would have disappeared in a puff of internet obsolescence.
The new format is current and obviously generic, but all still works and all info has been saved.
