hello folks, I would appreciate a little help with finding a diamond for my cousin,I have scoured the net for days to find a stone within budget, this one seems to be feeling good, the only worry i have is that the crown % is a little high?or am i wrong in thinking this? i want a good all-rounder for scintillation, brilliance and dispersion, a truly well cut stone. would appreciate any clue as to anything i may have missed. not too hot on my diamonds, thanks guys

Does your cousin truly need a D? It would seem you could save some by dropping the color to the G range without much notice, except on the lab report 8) . I never really look at D-E-F diamonds unless the clarity is F-IF-VVS and the person wants to put the diamond away in a safe-deposit box! Just my opinion, though.

The stones look lovely...I personally would prefer a larger diamond, F/G color, VS2-SI1 clarity, with good proportions.

It is necessary to view stones in person and make visual comparisons. Rely less on the paperwork and more on the soul of the actual diamond.
