Hi Folks,

Does anyone have or know where I can get cutting designs for the platonic solids?

I've got a heap of topaz and I want to cut something a little different.

Seems like I found some floating around the net at one time, but I can't remember where. You might check the USFG Yahoo list (Files section). I developed a design for an icosahedron. If you'd like, I can check to see if I can find it now....

If I understand what you're looking for, you can find some here:

It's part of the online version of a CD dedicated to faceting from the Old Pueblo Lapidary Club's convention a number of years back. Since things like this occasionally disappear from the net, I downloaded the CD image and have it sitting here on my computer -- it's got *a lot* of other designs and articles on it that are well worth your time. Here are the details:
