This is truly a great short story. I do not as a rule take the time to read anything that is serial. My time is too short on this earth for drawn out projects. This was worth the wait. I found myself looking every day for the next installment.

Richard, hope you dust off some more short stories. You have an avid fan here. :D

Thank You Richard.

Carl

One last roll of the dice, all or nothing. Really great story and right to the end it's like you are sitting next to the guy watching it all happen.

Richard,

I am sure you are very busy, and I really appreciate the time you took to write the story. I found it a riveting read, and loved the vivid imagery, the rich characters, and the gemmological content.

One question remains in my mind however, would a 5KG boulder of imperial jade really be worth millions?

Wish Chu a happy retirement from me ;-)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It can't end. What a fantastic story. I need more.

Richard

Thank you for a great short story. I have waited anxiously each week for the next installment. I know you time is valuable so thank you for taking the time to introduce us to the world of jade trade.

If you decide to grant us the priviledge of reading more of these wonderful short stories, I for one would be very grateful.

Thanks all,

Wish I had some more stories but like the cartoon creature says,; bda, bda, bda, thats it folks!

Hang on for a couple of years and with luck, I will have an entire novel.

On the question of jade value. Martin, I have seen idividual cabochons of extraoradinary quality regularly sell in the high six figures. 5 kilos could be worth 100 million if the color ran true.
