I'm thinking about hitting the Denver shows. Anyone else going?

First time hitting them, so any advice is much appreciated.

Best

Hi Christine,

I am probably going to go for a few days. A bit different than Tucson, but a fun series of shows - I always enjoy the club show in particular.

I know it's been a while but did you go and what did you think of it? How would be the best way to see it if looking for a small amount of faceting rough.

Think of the Denver shows as Tucson lite....very lite!

With a very quick cruise you can cover almost all the venues in one day. As for rough, I would say that it's scattered amongst a few vendors usually selling cut stones. A few at Intergem. Five Lions was there last year, I think at the Ramada or Quality Inn (next to each other). Parking lot at the Colosseum is a mini Electric Park, inside is a mixed bag.

This site has some great info

Granted, it's not Tucson, but I like going to the Denver show, different pace, very casual. A little more time to chat with dealers. Nice hit mid-year.

Have fun!

I'm planning on making it this year. Been a few years for me, but its always a fun excuse to look at rocks and also spend some time with my sister in Colorado. :)
