Just as a point of interest....are you all aware that the breathtaking pair of ametrines featured above on the Spectrum announcement were cut by John Dyer?
If y'all have not taken the opportunity to look at his work, stop whatever you are doing and check this out:

HI

I completely embaressed  my self with one of Johns pieces ,
I stated it should be gemstone of the year LOL , saying this i was unaware of his talents and his past achievements . I drool everytime i go to his site now , every piece is better then the last and i could never just pick one as a favorite , but maybe one day, i will have one in my collection , now that would make make me smile :smt082 , although i probably get nothing done because all i do is stare at it . :smt112
They truely are pieces of art :smt023

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the words of encouragement! It is nice to hear that people like the gems as I spend months at a time just cutting and not showing much in between shows.

I think the site is a good opportunity but for a long while it was just more than we could handle.

Hope to see you all in Tucson!
