Hi I have several pieces of fuchsite and muscovite with ruby and ruby corundum in and on it. I can easily break off the fuchsite to retrieve the ruby, what sizes are worthy of doing this? Are the Rubies pure enough for cutting and faceting? Or is it better to just wrap them and sell them? There are some thick pieces so if I break or cut them into thinner pieces they will all have ruby through out so what is the best way break them? cutting them would seem to waste too much material. There are also many pieces of fuchsite with pyrite and copper other metal in it what are the chances there is gold, or platinum, or silver in it if I found ruby?
