Hi, I've found out that aluminium pens are ideal for marking stones prior to cutting. But trying to find one is causing a problem for me. When I find any they all seem to be ordinary pens made of aluminium, which is not what I want. Has anyone any suggestions as to where I can buy one?

If that doesn't work, PM me your physical address and I'll send you a length of aluminum wire. I think I have some 14g at home (might be 12g). It'll be soft, but it'll work.

I use different colored pencils used for marking cuts on steel. You can get them in any color at your local hardware store for $1.usd each. I use the red one for light colored material and the silver one for dark stones. hope this helps!
