Yeah, that's pretty diagnostic. No doubt there are other brown materials that would fade that quickly, but nothing nearly as common or readily available. Note that direct sunlight is usually more effective, since the glass cuts a lot of the UV. A few hours in direct sun and it would be colorless.

It's basically colorless now, there are two spots, at the point and at the other end, where you can see some light brown if you look at it in good light. It was on the ledge for about a week-ish.

Best shot I could get, it's really cloudy today and I'm not much good with lighting :/ It's still pretty obvious though.
