This means nothing! Incandescent must mean colorless when measuring color.

Agreed....although "tungsten yellow light" DOES mean something....it means they are using the wrong light.

New to the Forum or The Quiet Type

LOL... and I was thinking that sending them to test will sort all questions:)

This are my first color changing stones I ever had in my hands. For checking color change ability of those sapphires I did use 4 types of lights day light, LED white , yellow ( classic light bulb) and fluorescent one.
Every time colour was changing from dark bluish green to dark purple/red.

All of that is making me feel that I just start scratching a surface of knowledge.

Get a Hanneman Alexandrite and Color Shift Filter.
