Greetings from Florida! :D Thank you for adding me to your forum. I am very interested in taking a Gemology course but I noticed there is not a school anywhere near me. I see there are online classes available. Which of them would you recommend? I do some stone setting, wire wrapping and also I strand but I am looking to expand my horizons. I have been educating myself from this forum (which is awesome) as well as other internet sources. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you and have a great day!

I would suggest the graduate gemologist distance education program.

I think most of us on the forum would agree with Nathan. The GIA is the best option.

I am currently going through GIA's distance education and it is very thorough and comprehensive. You will enjoy it!
