Any idea what they are?
They come from the bluish grey stone to the back.
I read that the host stone is calcium carbonate or carbide
not sure witch.
It maybe sandstone?
The orb if I polished them will they fall apart or
will their be somthing inside?

Hey there. Of course, as everyone on here will tell you, it's impossible to ID something from a picture. That said, they look like Moqui Marbles. They are basically a concretion that is made of sand, iron oxide, and something to hold it all together. They are all over the place in La Jolla, in the Torrey Pines reserve. They are fairly common throughout the Southwest.

They could even be iron garnets. We were at Red Rocks Canyon near Las Vegas a few weeks ago. There are iron deposits there that form "marbles". They say that the local tribes folks used to play games with them.

Nope, they are not garnets. I've collected them from that locality. They are Moqui Marbles for sure there.
