Good Evening

Finally i bought Gem-A refractometer model no: REF0006.
it has small scale therefore i feel very difficulty to read
r-index . for cabochon doesnt work this , what shall i do ?
i think i have lost my money !!!!! :oops: :cry: :(

Have you ever used a refractometer before?
Are you sure you are using it properly?
I own one of these GemAs.
No problems and yes you can do spot readings with them.

If you are looking for a larger scale, you can buy the GIA's Duplex II refractometer....or Gemological Products refractometer

I personally prefer the Gemological Products Unit, but I own and use all 3.
