hi, everyone, I'm new in the forum,
I would like to have some information about synthetic topaz, how to recognize them, I read that they are not commercialized because the naturals are so common, It's that true? and It's true that you can have a natural (not radiated ) london blu topaz only putting a rough light blu topaz under the embers?
thanks.

Hi and Welcome.
The topic has been previously discussed here:

That being said, I don't believe synthetic topaz is commercially available.

I have never heard of blue topaz being produced or enhanced by heat (beyond annealing away the brown tones in irradiated stones). I have the feeling that it's unlikely, but I'm not an expert on topaz.

Even I haven't heard about that, but the news come from a seller from Brasil: San Paolo, I saw a gem but I have no idea how to valuate, In my opinion, the blu was a little lighter then the irradiated ones.
