i would like to know what the cheapestgood quality microscope avalible. thank you

among the very cheapest darkfield and iris diaphragm equiped gemological microscope:

Gemoro Elite 1030PM at less than 250$ brand new (+shipping cost and custom fees)

Of course at this price you won't get great optical quality but it's ok.

main drawback: the microscope head can't be rised enough to focus on any object that is more than 2cm in height (which means that you can't confortably watch stones that are more than 2cm in size)

other drawback: darkfield light bulb is only 10W which isn't much (some suggested it might possibly be replaced by a 20W bulb)
