Howdie folks,

a very good friend of mine is evaluating the chance of making the big jump an exhibiting at the incoming JANY , October edition.
He is still unsure if attending is worth the expenses (actually more than 10 k for exhibiting only) and asked for my advice knowing i have some friends in the US industry.
As a further info, my friend design and produce Handmade and unique pieces only, taste is modern, lot of use of colored stones and "weird" diamonds, definitely more focused on design. Prices may vary from 500 to 10000 US$, btw he already showed his pieces at JCK Vegas some yrs ago, what else? ah, yes, fluent English 8) ................ this is his website: http://www.arriga.it just to understand what we are talking about......any advice if the October edition of JANY can work for his products???

I really hope some of you are already familiar with the event and will be able to help me, any suggestion will be precious, thx in advance,

ciao
alberto

Sorry, not an industry insider here, but I just wanted to say that your friend does lovely work. I wish that he had some description of the pieces on his site, though (or if there is, that it was easier to find in the flash layout). I love it when people use expensive materials and crafting with gemstones which are traditionally less 'precious'--it often yields very striking results.

Your advice about describing the pieces is spot on, I agree, and told to Max to include them in the website. He sworn he will do that...........sooner or later.....LOL.....another very busy dude.....
