Christie's Otober 20th, 2010 jewelry auction is now on view in NYC.
They have quite a sellection this year with highlights of the next auctions in Hong Kong and Geneva not to be missed.

In the hong Kong sale, among other amazing gemstones, there is an exceptional pair of earing with a beautifully matched pair of Kashmere sapphires in the 8 ct range each.
the Geneva sale features a beautiful fancy orangy pink diamond, a small but incredible green diamond as well as a lovely fancy intense purplish pink diamond. The 9+ ct old mine colombian emerald has no inclusion visible to the naked eye and the color is joverwhelming. I think that the estimate is close to $ 1,000,000.--

As for the NY sale, there are some quite extraordinary pieces: the Vanderbilt diamond necklace, a pair of earing with a pair of imperial topaz by JAR, the Bulgari blue diamond (fancy intense blue), and some rare designer pieces.
Of particular interst were some Belperron brooches, some Boivin pieces, some great Van Cleef & Arpels' pieces to name a few.
Did I mentioned an amazing Art Deco unsigned reversible enamel and diamond bracelet?

Just amazing
