Hi,

This is my first post. I have been a plumber since 1987. I am getting too old to keep army crawling under homes all day long. Body parts are beginning not to want to function anymore and getting up in the mornings is getting very painful these days.

One of my customers owns 4 Pawn Shops and several beach homes here in NC. I do plumbing maintenance in his beach homes. He sells a ton of Jewelry all over the world. He told me that he receives about 10 to 30 Jewelry items, including loose stones, every day. He has been telling me to get into the Pawn or Jewelry Business. I am in no direct competition with him since he lives in Ohio. He says, "You must know all about Jewelry and Gems". Well, I realize that part.

I can't leave town since I own a plumbing business. I am on emergency call 24/7 so, there is just no way.

I want to be able to identify gems, figure out the value of them and of course buy and sell them.

Oh, and by the way, I love gems and rocks. I used to collect arrowheads, fossils, go up to Hiddenite, NC and look for emeralds, and pan for gold in the local creeks. With my current career field, I just have no time for much of anything except work. I am ready for a change.

Thanks!
