Do anyone know where there is an index of Italian manufacturing numbers. They are really good about their stamping but many times I can't find their name cross indexed with their number and region. Thanks.

Can you post a picture about what you are describing as manufacturing numbers?
Thanks.

hi,

yes there is an index but its not public or free. It's a book published in recent years by different editors, i have a really outdated copy    i know, i should purchase the last edition...................... whatever, if you post a pic of the stamp or describe it i will see what i can do...................
OR
if the manufacturer is still in the business, there is the online search service from the Chamber of Commerce network unfortunately in Italian language only.... again, if you need for assistance do not hesitate to ask... :D
ciao
alberto

Unfortunately the Chamber of Commerce link will show you the manufacturer still in activity ONLY. If your piece was made by someone not active anymore, the search will give no result.

ciao
